Elisabeth Seweryn – Elżbieta Seweryn is a graphic designer, architect and art painter. Born in Warsaw, Poland, she has lived in Paris since 1987.

She is a Laureate of Narcyza Żmichowska high school, in Warsaw's "Royal Baths Park", she received her diploma in French literature from the Université de Nancy II in 1980. As a student of the School of Architecture, Ecole Polytechnique, in Warsaw, she went to the United States, as part of an exchange program at the University of Detroit - Marygrove College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Architecture in 1982. Her contest portfolio gained her admission to study at prestigious Ivy League, Yale University School of Art, where she earned her Masters of Fine Art in 1984. At Yale she explored techniques of drawing, painting and all aspects of the field of design.

The formative influences on Ms. Seweryn's art come from the drawing techniques of Prof. Henryk Dąbrowski (School of Architecture in Warsaw,) and in U.S., from the visual semantics and international typography of Prof. Paul Rand. She is the recipient of the Paul Rand Prize for her project, "African mask"). She continues her work in the area of graphic design.
Her notable works include the poster, "Remembrance of Things Past" of Marcel Proust, for theatre scene, signed Sylvain Lhermitte, in 1984 and Posters for films and symposium for the Futurist Festival at Yale University in 1984. Her work, "Lights-Luce" is included as part of the Filippo Thommaso Marinetti archives in Yale Univerisity's Beinecke Rare Books Library.
Since 1989 she has worked as a conceptual graphic designer for Editorial leaders in Paris.
