Passing rules:

Score system: max of over 50 points to be collected

Grade from classes: score/10 rounded down to the closest grade (e.g. 37 -> 3.5).
To pass it is enough to collect at least 30 points AND obtain at least 5 points from each of the 2 tests.

3 sources of score:
1) entry tests: short (ca. 10 minutes) easy 1-2 questions concerning the last lecture/class (no complicated computations), on the beginning of (almost) each class for 1-2 points each, not possible to be retaken, total: max. of about 20 points
2) 2 tests (around 7th and 14th lectures), each for ca. 14 points, total about 28 points. One selected test can be retaken around the last lecture.
3) activity: each task solved on the board during class gives 0.5-1 point. Max. about 10 points

Only students who passed classes can take the exam.
Exam necessary only if you wish to obtain grade of 4 or higher. Lower grades can be re-written from the class grade without taking the exam.
